Base 3-17

In base 3-17, each digit in a number represents the number of copies of that power of 3-17. That is, the first digit tells you how many ones you have; the second tells you how many 3-17s you have; the third tells you how many 3-17x3-17 you have; the fourth tells you how many 3-17x3-17x3-17 you have; and so on.

Base 18

In base 18, each digit in a number represents the number of copies of that power of 18. That is, the first digit tells you how many ones you have; the second tells you how many 18s you have; the third tells you how many 18x18 you have; the fourth tells you how many 18x18x18 you have; and so on.
