Using Math Tools
Math Tools' calculators, converters, tables, and reference pages are free to use. Some features — higher API rate limits, additional tools — are available through a paid subscription. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Accounts
Creating an account requires a valid email address. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Pricing and plan details are shown at checkout before you pay. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; cancellation stops future billing but doesn't retroactively refund the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
API and MCP use
Our API and MCP server are subject to the rate limits and usage abilities tied to your plan (or, for unauthenticated/guest use, the discovery-level limits described in our API documentation). Automated abuse, attempts to circumvent rate limits, or reselling API access without permission may result in your access being revoked.
Accuracy of results
We build our calculators and reference tools to be accurate, and we test them, but math tools on the internet — including this one — shouldn't be the sole basis for decisions with real financial, medical, engineering, or legal consequences. Verify anything important through an authoritative source appropriate to your use case.
Acceptable use
Don't use Math Tools to attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other users, or use the contact form or any part of the site to send spam or abusive content.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
